Hi, I’m Jess Richards!

My story is a little different to your normal weight-loss journey…

I was introduced to weight training at the age of 14, after a near-death horse-riding accident, where I was forced to resign from my sporty childhood and go back to the basics of core strengthening and conditioning work. From there I worked my way up and increased my strength, while battling ongoing back spasms and a chronic injury. I began to see the positive changes that came as a result, not only did it improve my injury, but also my body shape and and my confidence.

My drive to begin my business Lift Workout, came from my passion for my own health and the opportunity it gives me to improve the lives of those around me. By providing a support system of effective programming, nutritional guidance and an emphasis on mindset strategies to reach their health and fitness goals.

My core beliefs revolve around mindset, consistency and discipline, it is with these methods that I have helped improve many of my clients lives and I am on a mission to empower women to be the best they can be.

My methods involve progressive training and flexible dieting nutrition protocols to help you get the results you are after and KEEP THEM!

I will teach you my method based upon:

my approach to health and fitness…

My ultimate goal has always been to equip my clients with the right tools and education to confidently take control of their health and fitness journey and keep progressing beyond working with me or doing one of my programs, and achieve long-term lifestyle changes.

The programs I have created are designed have you feeling fit, strong and confident inside and out! I love weight training and its endless benefits it has for the female body. When working together, you will not only look your best but feel your strongest, healthiest and happiest self.

Programs are built in 4-week training blocks, with an emphasis on progression. This gives you a chance to focus on nailing technique or increase weight before moving on to the next phase of the plan. This type of programming is what I enjoy and find to be the most effective to ensure we aren’t hitting plateaus.

In terms of nutrition, I live by the 80:20 rule! I believe that in life, balance is key! Everything in moderation. The 80:20 rule is based around balance, 80% whole foods and the remainder 20% soul foods, minus the guilt. I personally find this the most sustainable approach, whilst achieving your goals.

I firmly believe that you don’t need to sacrifice flexibility or enjoyment to hit your nutrition targets.
